What are cookies?

FITCATCH, S.L., (hereinafter, “FitCatch” or the “Entity”) and other third parties use the cookies on the platform included in the FitCatch App (hereinafter, the “App”) that are detailed in the table included in the section “What cookies are used in the App?” of this Cookie Policy. This table also indicates the external entities that use the information stored in cookies managed by third parties.
What types of cookies does FitCatch use and for what purposes?
The Entity and other third parties use the following types of cookies in the App for the purposes indicated below:
Technical or functional cookies
These are those that allow browsing through the App, the use of the different options or services and guarantee the correct functioning of the site. These are cookies that allow, for example, to control traffic and data communication, identify the session, access restricted access parts, remember the elements that make up a subscription, carry out the subscription process, manage payment, control fraud linked to the security of the service, count visits for the purposes of billing for the licenses of the software with which the service works, use security features while browsing, store content for the dissemination of videos or sound or enable dynamic content (for example, animation of loading a text or image).
Analytical cookies
These are those that allow the monitoring and analysis of the behavior of the users of the App. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of the App, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data made by users of the service. These cookies analyse the number of visitors to the App and to different sections of it, the origin of the visits, day and time, platform, number of clicks on a banner, search words used by a user to find their desired content. In this way, FitCatch uses a very useful means to introduce improvements in the App and know what content or design is most relevant to users.
How to manage cookies?
The user can manage their preferences regarding the use of cookies in the App at any time by accessing, through the button at the bottom of the page, the Settings Panel enabled by FitCatch or below, in the section “What cookies are used in the App?”.
- Private browsing, whereby your browser stops saving browsing history, website passwords, cookies, and other information on the pages you visit, or
- The Do Not Track feature, whereby the browser asks the websites you visit not to track your browsing habits.
Finally, we inform you that in order to allow, know, block or delete the cookies installed on your computer or device, you can do so by configuring the browser options or by using the cookie configuration panel expressly enabled in the browser. If you do not allow the installation of cookies, you may not be able to access some of the functionalities and/or services of the App.
