What are cookies?

We use our own and third-party cookies to analyse and improve our services. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computer, phone, tablet or any other device so that the server can remember certain data for later use. This information identifies you as a specific user and lets the server remember your preferences, as well as technical data such as visits and browsing time. It allows the App server to recognise your browser — for example, letting a registered user access areas without logging in on each visit, and remembering language or country preferences for future visits. This information may also be used to measure audience and traffic.

Who uses cookie information?

FITCATCH, S.L. ("FitCatch" or the "Entity") and third parties use on the FitCatch App platform the cookies detailed in the table in the section "What cookies are used in the App?" of this Cookie Policy. That table also identifies the external entities that use information stored in third-party-managed cookies.

What types of cookies does FitCatch use and for what purposes?

The Entity and third parties use the following types of cookies in the App for the purposes described below:

Technical or functional cookies

Cookies that enable navigation through the App, the use of its various features and services, and ensure the site works correctly. They allow, for example, traffic and data communication control, session identification, access to restricted areas, managing subscriptions and payments, fraud prevention, visit counting for software licence billing, security elements during browsing, storing content for video or audio playback, and enabling dynamic content.

Analytical cookies

Cookies that allow monitoring and analysis of user behaviour on the App. The information collected is used to measure App activity and introduce improvements based on usage data. These cookies analyse the number of visitors to the App and its sections, the origin of visits, day and time, platform, number of banner clicks, and keywords used to find desired content.

How to manage cookies?

Users can manage their cookie preferences in the App at any time by accessing the FitCatch configuration panel via the footer button, or below in the "What cookies are used in the App?" section.

  • Private browsing, in which your browser stops saving your browsing history, website passwords, cookies and other information from visited sites, or
  • The do-not-track feature, by which the browser asks the websites you visit not to track your browsing habits.

Finally, please note that to allow, learn about, block or delete cookies installed on your device, you can do so through your browser settings or the cookie configuration panel provided on the site. If you do not allow cookies, you may not be able to access some of the App's features and/or services.
